Winter has come to Maya’s forest. One sunny morning, Maya and her friends set out to see if any berries are still left on the bushes.
Along the way, Maya meets Benny, the fastest rabbit in the forest. Benny can hear sounds from far away—but he is also afraid of almost everything.
Then the friends hear some troubling news: a fox has been seen near the creek. When they discover fresh paw prints in the snow, they begin to wonder just how close she might be.

Maya
Maya is a farm mouse who moves to the forest in search of a peaceful life. She becomes a good friend to the animals of the forest and supports her neighbors.
Sammy
A red squirrel, and a friend of Maya. He is hardworking and smart and is always there to lend a hand.
Charlie
Charlie is a chipmunk with big cheeks. He is also Maya's friend. He is cunning and loves food.
Benny
Benny is a timid rabbit who never believed in himself until Maya and her friends showed him that he can overcome his fears.
Cara
Cara is a crow. She knows everything that happens in the forest and always spreads the news.
Fox
Fox comes to the forest to build a den.
