Note: this is plain-language starter content, not legal advice. It is under review by counsel before public launch.

Privacy

Mia Volo Books is directed to parents and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our forms and content are intended for the adults choosing books and resources for a child.

What we collect, and why

  • Your email address — only if you sign up, and only to send new-book and new-resource notifications.
  • Basic, anonymized analytics — aggregate visit data, with IP anonymization, to understand what's useful.

We do not sell or share your information for advertising.

No advertising or retargeting pixels

We use no third-party advertising or retargeting pixels (for example, no Meta Pixel). Analytics run in anonymized-IP mode.

Third-party processors

We rely on a few services, each handling data under their own policies:

  • MailerLite — email list and sends
  • Publer — social distribution
  • Cloudflare — hosting and anonymized analytics
  • Sanity — content management

Access & deletion

To request deletion of any data — including anything a child may have submitted inadvertently — or to access or correct your information, email hello@miavolobooks.com and we'll take care of it.

Email

Our newsletter sends only new-book and new-resource notifications — never events, filler, or ads. Signing up on the form is your consent (single opt-in). You can unsubscribe anytime from any email, and every email includes a physical mailing address, as required.
